HM King receives participants of Intra-Islamic Dialogue Conference

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa warmly welcomed over 400 scholars, religious leaders, and experts to the Intra-Islamic Dialogue Conference at Sakhir Palace, under the leadership of His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al Tayyeb, Grand Imam of Al Azhar and Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders. The conference, hosted in Bahrain under His Majesty’s patronage, aims to promote unity and solidarity among Muslim nations under the theme “One Nation, One Shared Destiny.” It brings together diverse voices worldwide to foster understanding and strengthen Islamic ties.

In his powerful address, King Hamad expressed his gratitude to the attendees. He outlined the conference’s purpose, calling for renewed efforts to unify the Muslim Ummah in the face of shared challenges. He emphasized the need for moderate thought, rejected sectarian divisions, and reaffirmed Bahrain’s commitment to fostering “religious fraternity” among Muslims. The King also highlighted Bahrain’s role in promoting unity through Bahrain’s unified Family Law, stressing the importance of collaboration to achieve peace and stability across the Islamic world.
