HM the King: Bahrain Will Continue Advocating Peace, Tolerance

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today received in Al Sakhir Palace –  in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, HM King’s Personal Representative HH Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor HH Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa – Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs members led Chairman Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Sunni Endowments Council Chairman Dr. Shaikh Rashid bin Mohammed Al Hajeri and Jafferi Endowments Council Chairman Youssef bin Saleh Saleh.

 

They expressed to HM the King congratulations and greetings on the holy month of Ramadan, wishing HM the king abundant health, happiness and long life and the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people further security, stability, progress and development under his wise leadership.

 

HM the King welcomed them and exchanged greetings with them,  wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people, as well as the expatriate communities and the Arab and Islamic nations many happy returns and further peace and prosperity.

 

HM the King commended the SCIA’s achievements for the people of Bahrain as well as its role in serving Islam and promoting its teachings which are based on moderation, tolerance and the rejection of extremism and intolerance.

 

He also praised the efforts of both endowments councils in promoting worship venues, forming preachers and imams to foster the culture of tolerance and fraternity and adopting a religious discourse that supports the values of national unity and belonging.

 

He affirmed that the Kingdom will continue its approach and noble mission in spreading and consolidating the values and principles of the Islamic religion, which are based on tolerance, love, peace, coexistence, respect for others, and promoting human brotherhood.
