HH National Security Advisor meets US counterpart

National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander, Major-General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, has lauded the long-standing strategic partnership between Bahrain and the across various fields, noting that the advanced level reached by bilateral cooperation has contributed to achieving common interests.

 

HH Shaikh Nasser made the statements while meeting the US National Security Advisor, Jake Sullivan, as part of HH’s current visit to the USA.

 

HH Shaikh Nasser indicated that under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the Kingdom of Bahrain is keen to enhance its cooperation and coordination with the USA in all fields, particularly the military and defence ones to achieve the interests of the two friendly peoples.

 

The National Security Advisor and his US counterpart discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations in order to achieve common goals and serve joint interests.

 

They also discussed regional and global issues of mutual interest, especially those related to security and stability.

 

Bahraini Ambassador to US, Shaikh Abdulla bin Rashid Al Khalifa, and Assistant National Security Advisor, Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, attended the meeting.
