HH National Security Advisor meets US State Department Counselor

National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander, Major-General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, has discussed ways to enhance Bahrain-US cooperation with Counselor of the United States Department of State, Derek Chollet, as part of his current visit to the USA.

HH Shaikh Nasser affirmed that the Kingdom continues to strengthen its distinguished relations with the USA, in light of the long-standing robust relations between the two countries.

The two sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations in a way that contributes to achieving the desired goals and serving common interests. They also reviewed a number of issues of mutual concern.

Bahraini Ambassador to US, Shaikh Abdulla bin Rashid Al Khalifa, and Assistant National Security Advisor, Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, attended the meeting.
